Bringing words to life through melody.

Tricia Ruttman is an independent Texas songwriter and lyricist whose passion for storytelling through music spans more than three decades. Her songs explore love, heartbreak, family, faith, hope, and the beautiful possibility of second chances.

Drawing inspiration from real-life experiences, Tricia writes across a variety of musical styles, including country, country-pop, contemporary pop, inspirational music, heartfelt ballads, romantic duets, and Christmas music. Her songwriting explores universal themes of love, heartbreak, family, hope, resilience, and second chances, with melodies and arrangements that can be adapted to different artists, genres, and creative projects.

Through TR North Records and Ruttman Song Publishing, Tricia has developed and released a growing catalog of original songs available on major streaming platforms. Her work includes the Journey album series, duets, and her personally recorded vocal projects, Journey in Bloom and Christmas With Tricia Ruttman.

While Tricia enjoys bringing selected songs to life with her own voice, her primary passion is songwriting. She is actively pursuing opportunities for artist recordings, music publishing, radio airplay, and film and television licensing.
